Pourquoi allonger une couronne?<\/h2>\n<\/div>

Avez-vous un exc\u00e8s de tissu gingival qui fait para\u00eetre vos dents plus courtes? Si oui, vous avez ce qu\u2019on appelle un sourire gingival. L\u2019allongement coronaire sera utilis\u00e9 pour enlever le tissu gingival superflu. Une plus grande surface de la dent sera expos\u00e9e. Cette technique s\u2019appelle aussi le \u2018\u2019lifting\u2019\u2019 de la gencive ou la gingivectomie.<\/p>\n

Du point de vue esth\u00e9tique, il y a une certaine forme et taille id\u00e9ale pour vos dents et vos gencives. Le rapport entre les deux reste un \u00e9l\u00e9ment important pour former un beau sourire agr\u00e9able.<\/p>\n

Qu\u2019est-ce qu\u2019un allongement fonctionnel de couronne?<\/h2>\n

Un allongement fonctionnel de couronne est une technique pour r\u00e9parer une dent fractur\u00e9e ou tr\u00e8s cari\u00e9e. Dans l\u2019allongement fonctionnel, on acc\u00e8de par chirurgie \u00e0 la partie de la dent qui se trouve sous la gencive. On abaisse la gencive et l\u2019os pour pr\u00e9parer la dent avant la restauration. Quand la technique est termin\u00e9e, on pose une couronne ou un pont pour r\u00e9tablir le sourire.<\/p>\n

Qui effectue cette technique?<\/h2>\n
